At IGA, we have done the structural design and renovation for various residential and commercial structures.

Whether it be residential or commercial, any structure meant for human occupancy has to be designed accordingly. It is not unusual to have long spans at the upper occupant levels with an assembly hall at a lower level with a podium structure to support the upper levels.

We have designed residential structures using Post Tensioned Slabs, Two-Way Reinforced Concrete slabs, and Composite Slab-on-Metal Deck resting on steel beams.

In addition to the general structural elements, we have also designed and detailed the various connections throughout the structure, ranging from overhead swimming pools to multi-story deep trusses to carry transfer loads.
